Birthdays, State Fair of Texas, & Halloween(:

  Well it was that time again the State Fair rolled into Texas and for the first time in about 5 years we got to go!! We had a blast too i was so excited we finally got to go to the fair. Of course the first thing we went to was the car show to see all the new and really old cars like the very first car ever lol it was awesome! i think it was the boys favorite part of the day other  than riding the rides(: Nathan and Kayla got to ride a merry-go-round but in roller coaster form lol its was pretty cool. Anthony and I got to ride a really big boat that goes back and fourth really fast it was awesome :) Kayla and i got a beautiful new ring that i wear everyday lol and me and my mom got something for our hair its called hair magic i think and i also wear that everyday lol its way better than a pony tail and much prettier. We had a lot of fun just hope we get to go back next year(:

  Nathans birthday party was also this past saturday he is now 7! Hes getting so big. We just had it here at my grandmas house like Anthonys and he had a lot of fun and of course i made nates cake. He wanted a race car cake so i made a race car out of mini cupcakes and put it on top of a sheet cake i think it was the biggest cake ive done so far and everyone Loved it especially little nate he couldnt stop talking about how cool it was! I was pretty proud of myself im really gettin the hang of this cake making and decorating thing(: my family thinks i should open my own bakery and get all famous lol which i wouldnt mind doing that but i think ill stick to teaching instead

  Happy Halloween everyone! I hope all of you kids had a safe and wonderful halloween full of tons and tons of candy(: unfortuntly Anthony had his championship football game on halloween night (which he won by the way undefeated the whole season oh yeahhh!!!) sooo by the time that finished everyone was practically done trick-or-treating we only got to go to about 7 houses but luckily trunk-or-treat saved the day! The same night as Nathans birthday our church had trunk-or-treat and that was a lot of fun :) The boys got a ton of candy so it wasnt as huge of a disapointment on halloween night. All of the kids got little trophies that said best coustume on it that was really cute but anthony got best coustume in our ward (cause it was combined with another ward and they were the ones passing out trophies) ribbion, that was pretty cool he was so excited that he was the one that got picked!

  Hmmm lets see oh yes we also have a new addition to the family, we got a new puppy! Finally! haha. Her name is Gypsy and she is a lab mix and we have no clue what shes mixed with but shes so adorable and cute and the smartest dog we've ever had she learns really fast, were hoping we can train her to be Nathans diabetes alert dog. we shall see though. She'll get to be about 40-60 pounds shes gonna be a big doggy but not too big we all love her to death shes a really good dog.

Anthony's 12th Birthday Party

  Yay we finally got around to having Anthony's Birthday party (3 weeks after his birthday but hey better late than never right? lol) Anthony was so happy he was finally having a party. My grand parents got him lots of church clothes and shoes on his actual birthday so he could wear them to church that week and he looked so handsome as usual :) Well anyways his party was really fun it was really really nice to have all the family and a few of our friends all together and having a lot of fun.

  I really challenged myself (well sorta) for Ant's birthday i asked him what kind of cake he wanted and we both came up with a football themed cake (cause hes so a.d.d. he didnt know what he wanted lol) anyways i love making cakes especially more than just putting frosting on a square cake, so i made him a two layer cake (it had to be vinilla) and also did something new this time, i melted jolly ranchers (blue for the cowboys) and put a cookie cutter (star) in it while it was still hot and waiting until it cooled and ta-da jolly rancher stars! haha anyways i put those on the cake at the very end. everything on the cake i did myself with the exception of the football and the goal post made out of Zubes that was actually my dads idea and it came out so stinkin cute! i was very proud of myself for doing a great job and it made it even better that anthony LOVED his cake so much he couldnt stop staring at it(: that and everyone complemented me on it :)

  Anthony got a lot of presents and of course mine was the best cause I'm big sister and i just have to go over the top for my siblings. everyone says my kids are going to be so spoiled and I'm starting to think they're right lol but that's not such a bad thing right? :) well here are the pictures of the fun!

Two Weeks Left

  So its two weeks until i start my first day of College...Im kinda nervous mostly cause of the fact that ive been out of school longer than normal lol but i think everything will be okay, i hope so. Im really excited to start using my brain again ive gotten really dingy hahaha. Anyway Ive been watching baby Michael again but now its only half days. I love that little guy so much :) He still babbles his own language and doesn't really say many real words but hes getting there. Hell say something similar to a word enough for us to understand what hes talking about. He is still non stop busy body which is sometimes good sometimes bad depending on if hes getting into anything and everything.

 

  Oh and after growing it out for years Anthony finally got his hair cut!!! He buzzed it! We were all really sad to see his hair go bye bye but i think hes feeling a whole lot better about it which is good. Actually me and Kayla were more sad than he was! I got the whole thing on video so we could have it forever maybe ill post it later its like 10 mins long lol.  Hmmm lets see, Nothing too majorly exciting has happened (like usual) just me working like always helping support the family before i go off and become a student again cant wait to have my actual degree in my hands its gonna be an amazing feeling i just know it!! :D The only unfortunate thing about school is i wont be in the dorms :( i was really looking forward to it but they are way to expensive for my wallet. Sooo that means ill have to drive 45 mins everyday (except Friday) and back. Doable but still a pain in the butt. Hopefully my plans for housing will all work out and there will something out there for me. Ive got all my books and supplies and im ready to go. Buy books for the first time was an experience. I knew they would be expensive but man not THAT expensive!!! Well see how it goes though im just so happy and  blessed that i was able to get financial aid to pay my tuition and books otherwise i would never in a million years be able to attend college and get my degree. Thank you lord :)

  As far as the family were doing great for our situation. The normal stresses and arguments of day to day life is all that really goes on. Were just trying to make the best out of a less than ideal situation. Nathan will be starting 1st grade next week! Anthony will be starting 7th and will be very extremely busy this year, he will be in theater arts, Beginning Orchestra AND football!!!  Hes gonna be a busy busy boy(: Kayla will be a sophomore in high school and she will still be a student trainer for sports which will keep her really busy too! Shell be at all the football, soccer, baseball, wrestling etc games helping out the players and attending to their injuries. Im really proud of all of them im glad their doing more stuff than i did in middle and high school :) I cant wait to see them in action!
