  So its been a while since i last posted, Im offically 19 now! crazy right? i cant believe how time has flown by it seems like yesterday when i was playing dress up and having tea parties with my sister and cousins all playing with barbies and baby dolls! Sometimes i wish i could go back to those days, things were a lot more simple ad care free thats for sure. On the other hand i love being older and having a little more freedom to do what i want so i guess its not that bad.

   Lets see things have been hectic and crazy like it always is, some good, some bad but over all just seems like one big thing after another. My family took pictures in the beautiful Texas Bluebonnets, we havent taken pictures in the bluebonnets since Anthony was like 3 and Nate wasnt even born yet sooo its been a long time hahaha. We found this really really thick patch of blue bonnets, so thick that every once in a while wed look up from taking a picture and couldnt find Nathan because he was hiding in the flowers they were that tall and thick, it was pretty funny(: 

   well im off for the summer, my first big semester in college was a success i past all my classes with a 3.0 GPA so i was extremely proud of myself and so relieved that i did good. Kayla, Anthony and Nathan all passed as well. Now Kayla is a jr. in high school, Anthony is in 8th grade and Nate is in 2nd grade! So happy everyone has passed and is moving onto the next grade!(: Now im just waiting on the results for my financial aid for the fall semester, im anxious to see how that will turn out, im also debating if i should make a career change. im now considering going into Sonography, and being a Sonogram Tech, my mom is going back to school for that this fall (cross my fingers) and it sounds like a pretty interesting field to me sooo now im not sure if i wanna stay a teacher or if i want to be the Sonogram person that takes the first pictures of babies(: 

  Another thing that has happened, i have a new Aunt! My uncle Josh (moms brother) finally got married to his girlfriend (they've been going out forever and they finally got married) shes awesome and i love her and her kids so im glad shes part of our family, and in case you didn't already guess it i made their wedding cake haha and it was the BEST cake i have EVER made in my life, it was melt in your mouth, not overly sweet and not too bitter either pure goodness. i was very very very happy with how it came out and that everyone loved it, i got so many compliments on it which made me happy. i also took pictures for them i wasn't their professional photographer at all, they had one of those but i did take the reception pictures(: it was a really fun day, they had the ceremony at this beautiful botanical gardens and had the reception at a restaurant, good food, family and laughs what more could anyone ask for? Hmm so far this summer we haven't really done all that much, Anthony went to Scout Camp and had a ton of fun. The Texas summer heat is really cranking up yesterday it was over 112 degrees outside, YUCK! My AC in my car is all messed up too so its pretty miserable. I really hate the heat, and its not even officially summer yet just yucky if you ask me, i hope this winter is the coldest winter ever! well i think thats pretty good update of the Ramirez's (lol) Picture Time! :)

Ramirez Update

  so things have been pretty much the same for us here in the Ramirez household. Kayla turned 16 in January! eekkk! Kayla and i have been doing a lot of things together like going to the mall and just trying on beautiful prom dresses just for fun. Anthony also got his first cell phone! theres been some pretty big milestones goin on here lately if you haven't noticed :) 

  My great-grandmother also had a birthday in February. she turned the big 91!!!! Of course i made her cake. Two tiers chocolate and vanilla, with marshmallow flowers and candy clay butterflies (its like fondant but taste more like a vanilla tootsie roll and its a lot easier to work with, kinda like edible play-dough.) everyone loved it, we had family from out of town come a visit for her birthday so it was really nice but really crowded at the same time (not that its always crowded living with 13 people, you think id be used to it but i guess not ha) but anyways it was fun and my great-grandmother loved her cake and the drawing i gave her for her birthday as well. ive been drawing a lot more now, so far ive drawn something for my dad, my uncle, both my grandmothers, and my great-grandmother. i hope everyone dosent expect one from me now hahaha :) 

  school has been going great too, a whole lot better than last semester! my grades are tons better as well as my teachers i actually understand things now, not that i dont struggle cause i do but still its a lot easier. ill have some pictures of school too. oh and my mom and dad suprised me yesterday with an early birthday present, im on it right now! yep they gave me a brand new HP laptop! i love it!!!!! its the best present ever! its scary to think ill be 19 next month bleck! i dont like that number im getting old lol anyways heres some pictures!

Birthdays, State Fair of Texas, & Halloween(:

  Well it was that time again the State Fair rolled into Texas and for the first time in about 5 years we got to go!! We had a blast too i was so excited we finally got to go to the fair. Of course the first thing we went to was the car show to see all the new and really old cars like the very first car ever lol it was awesome! i think it was the boys favorite part of the day other  than riding the rides(: Nathan and Kayla got to ride a merry-go-round but in roller coaster form lol its was pretty cool. Anthony and I got to ride a really big boat that goes back and fourth really fast it was awesome :) Kayla and i got a beautiful new ring that i wear everyday lol and me and my mom got something for our hair its called hair magic i think and i also wear that everyday lol its way better than a pony tail and much prettier. We had a lot of fun just hope we get to go back next year(:

  Nathans birthday party was also this past saturday he is now 7! Hes getting so big. We just had it here at my grandmas house like Anthonys and he had a lot of fun and of course i made nates cake. He wanted a race car cake so i made a race car out of mini cupcakes and put it on top of a sheet cake i think it was the biggest cake ive done so far and everyone Loved it especially little nate he couldnt stop talking about how cool it was! I was pretty proud of myself im really gettin the hang of this cake making and decorating thing(: my family thinks i should open my own bakery and get all famous lol which i wouldnt mind doing that but i think ill stick to teaching instead

  Happy Halloween everyone! I hope all of you kids had a safe and wonderful halloween full of tons and tons of candy(: unfortuntly Anthony had his championship football game on halloween night (which he won by the way undefeated the whole season oh yeahhh!!!) sooo by the time that finished everyone was practically done trick-or-treating we only got to go to about 7 houses but luckily trunk-or-treat saved the day! The same night as Nathans birthday our church had trunk-or-treat and that was a lot of fun :) The boys got a ton of candy so it wasnt as huge of a disapointment on halloween night. All of the kids got little trophies that said best coustume on it that was really cute but anthony got best coustume in our ward (cause it was combined with another ward and they were the ones passing out trophies) ribbion, that was pretty cool he was so excited that he was the one that got picked!

  Hmmm lets see oh yes we also have a new addition to the family, we got a new puppy! Finally! haha. Her name is Gypsy and she is a lab mix and we have no clue what shes mixed with but shes so adorable and cute and the smartest dog we've ever had she learns really fast, were hoping we can train her to be Nathans diabetes alert dog. we shall see though. She'll get to be about 40-60 pounds shes gonna be a big doggy but not too big we all love her to death shes a really good dog.
