Bri Lee's Blog: Snow week in Texas!

Last week for us was super crazy! Sleet and snow all in one and tons of it too! we got a pretty good 3-4 inches of snow undernethe about an inch of sleet. School was cancelled teusday through friday so we had a week vacation from school. The boys were of course super super excited about not having school and were out in the snow literally all week long, they would only come in for about 5 mins to warm up and then venture back into the snowy backyard. They had loads of fun, they got a cardboard box and slide down the walkway up to our front door with Kayla.

Me unfortunatly had a really bad upper respitory infection that week so i wasnt able to play in the snow with my brothers and sister. So for me i wasnt so happy. People in the metroplex was litterally at a standstill. Almost everything shut down and everyone was locked in their houses. My family didnt go anywhere all week excpet for my dad who went to work very carefully. I was just thankfull that i finshed school and graduated before all this mess came into the picture lol. That way i wouldnt be sitting around the house with just half a credit left. That was a good thing :)

Then today it sleeted a lot and snowed a lot again! This is just craziness! School was cancelled again today. Good thing though its all melting so school will be back in session tomorrow. We didnt get as much today as we did last week but it was a pretty good amount. So anyway, here are some pictures of the boys playing out in the snow :)
