I got the amazing opportunity to go on Nathans field trip to the zoo a couple weeks ago ( i know im kinda late). It was so much fun. First of all i haven't ridden in a bus in a really long time so that was really neat for me(: Before we left we were paired with another student she was our "zoo buddy" her name was Krysta. It was really cute how they acted with each other. Once we got to the zoo it was packed with lots of school buses, then the kids got out and man there was a BUNCH of little kids running around. It was crazy, and whats even crazier is that my mom told me somedays it was even busier than that! i couldnt even imagine that lol. Anyways Krysta's mom is the special ed teacher and she asked if she could join our group for the day so me and my mom were with the special ed kids the whole day. It wasnt so bad, the only thing that was kinda stressful is one boy wonderd off a lot so we had to make sure he was always with us and another boy well lets just say he was a very talkitave child. In the end it was really nice and a preview of what i want to do later on in life. So i got see what it would be like being a special ed teacher on field trips. Bonus for me!
Anyways once we got there all the kids really wanted to see the lions. We just told them that we'd get around to it. The kids had so much fun we saw so much i think they really liked the reptile building the most cause they got to touch a real live snake. I was very proud of myself because i touched it too!(: We ate lunchables for lunch which to my moms surprise was actually good (told you so mom). I had a lot of fun just being there and being able to go with Nathan. I haven't ever been able to go on one of my siblings field trip and since this one was the day after my 18th birthday i was able to go! Perfect timing!! Before we went home we took Nathan and Krysta to the gift shop and let them pick out something. Krysta had $2 and all she could buy with that was candy how boring so i got her a stuffed elephant and Nathan got a Stuffed lion cub. You would've thought it was Christmas for them the way their faces lit up once they got in the bus, they were also the only ones that went to the gift shop so they liked showing the other kids their awesome animals. As soon as Nathan got home he crashed within 10 minuets haha, and he said he wasn't tired ;) Here are just some pictures we took of all the fun!!!
